In between jobs yesterday I managed to get into Stirling for an hour to photograph the 'Crit Under The Castle" Cycle races in the middle of the city.
A huge congratulations to everyone who took part and all the volunteers who make these days happen. The course in bits was bathed in fantastic sun light- which made of great photos but must have been a challenge for the cyclists.
Below is a small selection of the photographs I took during the 17.45 Beginners & the Elite Womens races.
I am just annoyed that i couldn't stay longer as it is such a challenge to get the photographs you want during a small section of time and didn't manage to get up to the castle for the end of the Elite races- I'm sure it was an amazing sight.
Wanted to add this photo in as these people are the unsung- heroes of these days. Without them the events would not happen and they deserve a lot of thanks.
Please feel free to share this blog. Thanks- John
